Privacy policy

This page explains what happens to the information you send us through this website. It is written to meet South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who we are

KJD Martial Arts Academy, of 17-4 Hawken Laan, Bromhof, Randburg, 2154. You can reach us on 071 686 9949 or at info@gsaex.co.za.

What we collect, and when

Only what you type into the enquiry form on our Visit page: your name, your phone number, your email address if you give one, which class you are interested in, and your message.

That is the only information we ask you for. This website does not use advertising cookies, does not track you between websites, does not build a profile of you and does not ask for your location.

Like every website, it is delivered by a hosting provider — Cloudflare — which processes basic technical information such as your IP address in order to serve the pages and to protect the site from attacks. We do not use that information for anything, and we cannot identify you from it.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry and arrange your first lesson. That is the only reason. We do not send marketing email to people who filled in the form, and we never sell or share your details.

If the enquiry is about a child

Please send it yourself rather than asking your child to. Under POPIA a child’s information may only be given to us by a parent or guardian, and we would rather be talking to you anyway.

Who can see it

Your enquiry is emailed straight to us. Two suppliers handle it on the way: Cloudflare, which serves this website, and Resend, which delivers the email. Neither uses your information for anything of their own.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails only while we may still need them to help you, and delete them once we do not. If you would rather we deleted yours sooner, ask us and we will do it.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@gsaex.co.za and we will act on it. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Changes to this page

If we change how this website handles your information, we will update this page.
